Help Bring Our Expansion to Life
The Don & Rita Stewart Community Center, Rita’s Village, and the Barbara Marks Infant Development Center will create new spaces to support the mothers and children served by Annunciation Maternity Home. Your support helps make this expansion possible.
Annunciation Maternity Home Expansion
For 25 years, Annunciation Maternity Home has helped women facing unexpected pregnancies find safety, healing, and hope. Through exceptional housing, education, life-skills training, counseling, and the support they need to succeed, we empower women to build stable, independent futures for themselves and their children.
This expansion will allow us to serve more mothers and children while continuing to provide the support that has been at the heart of our mission for 25 years.
The spaces at AMH are where everyday life happens. Mothers share meals after a long day, participate in life-skills training, celebrate milestones, and encourage one another as they build brighter futures for themselves and their children.
Rita’s Village
Rita’s Village will include five new four-bedroom, four-bath houses for program participants, along with the Don & Rita Stewart Community Center. Each house will feature shared kitchens, dining rooms, and living spaces where mothers support one another as they learn, grow, and care for their children. A small devotional room will provide a quiet place for prayer, journaling, and reflection.
The Don & Rita Stewart Community Center will provide space for educational programs, including parenting support, life-skills training, and community gatherings. It will also include a central laundry facility and fitness center. Rita’s Village is expected to open in Fall 2026.
The Barbara Marks Infant Development Center
The expansion also includes the Barbara Marks Infant Development Center (IDC), a new facility that will expand our existing onsite childcare program. Expected to open in Summer 2027, the new center will double childcare capacity, allowing more mothers to pursue education and employment while their children receive safe, high-quality infant developmental care.
At AMH, we believe every mother deserves a safe place to begin again and people who will walk alongside her as she works toward the future she wants for herself and her child. This expansion will help more families find that opportunity.
Help Prepare Our New Houses!
Rita’s Village will soon become home to mothers and their children. Your support can help transform these new houses into welcoming spaces where families can begin this next chapter.
