Some people said my life ended when I had a baby, but my life had just begun. (My baby) did not take away from my future, he gave me a new one. Being a young parent means we met a little early, but it also means I get to love you a little longer. AMH gave me a safe, rent free place to call home. I never had to worry about rent, food, gas or clothes. The wonderful house moms took me places I needed to go and were always around to help me out with anything I needed. This place and these people have changed my life for the better. Nelson Mandela once said, “it always seems impossible until it is done,” and I have found this to be true, but I also know that I couldn’t have done it without all of you.
Annunciation Maternity Home is the only Nationally Accredited maternity home in Texas licensed to provide free services to young women who are experiencing an unplanned pregnancy.
